The casitas, pools, and spa treatment rooms are located within a beautiful campus at the base of a red rock canyon, in an area that’s believed to be a vortex for positive energy. (There’s a reason the main street on Sedona is lined with crystal shops and tarot readers.) Mii Amo is the sort of spa that puts more emphasis on the metaphysical than the physical, so don’t expect to kick start weight loss, but do expect to let go of past traumas and habits. There are just 16 large and luxurious casitas, which creates an intimate vibe, and the dining room is centered on a communal table, to make solo spa-goers feel comfortable.
